I stayed at the Hyatt Edimburgo slots for a couple of nights a few weeks ago. Overall it's a decent hotel. It's pretty well-located; a bit of a walk from New Street Station, but it's very convenient for a lot of the major attractions in the city. Staff at check-in were really welcoming. I did spend quite a lot of time during my stay waiting for lifts, which I guess is just a downside of it being a big, high-rise hotel with lots of guests. The room was very spacious, albeit a bit dated (especially the bathroom). What really bothered me was that I'd paid extra for an upper-floor room to get views of the city, but the windows were FILTHY.

It was a slap in the face when another group who were caucasian individuals proceeded to head in without any questioning or prejudice that me and my friends had gone through. It is disgusting and out of order. If you don’t want to let us in because we don’t meet your criteria of people. Say that, and don’t make excuses with fake questioning.

Some good places to visit such as the trampoline Park and crazy golf, but the main atrium feels soulless and empty. This place has so much potential as an entertainment hub but always feels somewhat lacking. I hear that it is a pelo-go spot at night but we always visit in the daytime.

Weekends are busier. However over the years standard has fallen. Multi story car park is always closed. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Bham over all has collapsed and some areas worse than third world slums. Hence 3 stars ????

I had a fantastic .meal here incl bottle of wine as part of an offer they have ...excellent steak and the price was just right for the quality and experience..I do not use the casino entertainments but enjoyed a meal for two

Had a lovely stay here. Close to railway station and venues check in was fast and easy. I was recognised as an Platinum Elite member and got an upgrade as well. Room was great, clean and comfy with all amenities included. Breakfast was also good with many choices. Will stay here again.

This hotel is all round excellent value for money. Perfect location, good price, very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Service second to non-e. I can’t recommend these suites highly enough. Great for a family or slightly longer stay as you have a kitchen with mid cons including a dishwasher.

Not a big casino like I'm used to, but still decent with a few tables and some slot machines. Place was clean, they had servers running drinks and they're fairly cheap!

First impressions, it wasn't obvious to see when walking towards it and following Google maps, but hey, it wasn't far to walk from New Street. Good location and a nice looking hotel once inside. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, with a large bathroom plus a kitchenette.

Really nice room with good shower and kitchen area. Free breakfast was great, staff friendly and they had free magazines available for you to take if you wanted. They have a lot of items for sale that you may forget. Great location! Would definitely stay again

!! This was a surprise! Totally ruined. They have now submitted a refund without any apology, absolutely disgusting customer service I am appalled by this hotel and will certainly not give them any business in the future, I wanted to do something special the hotel just had a 'I don't care attitude'
